At the Nokia Open Studio 2006 in New York yesterday the N95 was officially announced. The specifications and features remain the same as we had pointed out yesterday. Here is a recap of the specs in case you missed them - The Nokia N95 will the company's most advanced and feature packed phone till date and will sport many firsts for Nokia like the 5 Megapixel Camera with Carl Zeiss optics and HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) which puts WCMA to the shame by offering data speeds of 1-2 Mbps which can scaled all the way to 10 Mbps. You can put up your PMP on Ebay if you are planning for the N95 as it comes with a 2.6" QVGA LCD with support for 16 million colors. Gaming will be fun with impressive 3D graphics and you wont runs out of games as there are plenty available for the Series 60 platform. The innovative 2-way slide concept makes it easy to switch between different modes, going from reading maps to watching a video with a simple slide. A numeric keypad slides out from one end of the device while dedicated media keys slide out from the opposite direction, converting the display into full screen landscape mode.
Besides HSDPA, Nokia N95 features all other current connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, 3G and EDGE, quad-band GSM, stereo Bluetooth, Infrared and USB 2.0 plus a TV-out port. The built in stereo speakers are good enough but you can always hook your headphones via the 3.5mm audio jack. the N95 has 160 MB of embedded memory and can accommodate up to 2GB of additional memory via the Micro SD card slot. Pricing and availability remains the same start saving now as the Nokia N95 will be available in Q1 of 2007 for 550 Euros ($ 700)

Introduction
More than 317,000 people from 41 countries took part in the world’s largest ever survey on sexual attitudes and behaviour. The research confirmed that Greece is officially the sexiest country with the Greeks having sex 138 times a year - well above the global average of 103. Croatia (134) and Serbia and Montenegro (128) come a close second and third. Almost half of all adults surveyed said they were happy with their sex lives although men are the least satisfied with how often they have sex. The survey also revealed the global average age for first time sex is 17.3 and the trend is for people to lose their virginity earlier, with 16 to 20 year olds becoming sexually active by 16.3 years. Most people believe sex education should start at 11.7 years. Virtually all those surveyed believe children of 16 and under should receive sex education and
more than a third believe governments should invest in sex education in schools. Almost half of all adults globally admit to having had unprotected sex without knowing their partner’s sexual history, despite more than one in 10 admitting to having had a sexually transmitted infection (STI). On a lighter note, the most common place for people to have sex outside their bedroom was the car, followed by toilets, parent’s bedroom and the park - and a bold 2% have joined the mile high club.

How the research was conducted
Based on the number of respondents from 41 countries, the 2005 Durex Global Sex Survey is the largest sexual health research project of its kind in the world. Now in its ninth year, the survey has quadrupled in size since its launch and covers 41 countries - newcomers this year included Indonesia and Chile. This is the fourth year that this survey has been carried out via the durex.com website and responses have been analysed by sex and age to give an in-depth and truly global picture of sexual attitudes and behaviour.

关于朝鲜战争，在中国的报刊、杂志和各种史料上反复看到一句话，那就是美国政府的高级官员，有的说是麦克阿瑟、有的说是美国国防部长、有的说是美国侵略者等等最后不得不承认：朝鲜战争“是在错误的时间、错误的地点，发动了一场错误的战争。”　　

事实上这是一句被严重地断章取义的话，原话的意思与这句被断章取义并被反复引用的话的意思简直就是大相径庭。　　

原话是当时任美国参谋长联席会议主席Bradley在1951年5月15日国会听证会上的说的一句话，原话为：　　

“Red China is not the powerful nation seeking to dominate the world. Frankly, in the opinion of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, this strategy would involve us in the wrong war, at the wrong place, at the wrong time, and with the wrong enemy.”　　

Bradley强烈指责联军最高司令麦克阿瑟企图把朝鲜战争扩大到中国境内的计划，所以在国会听证会上作出以上证词。原话直译为：“红色中国不是一个寻求统治世界的强大国家。坦率地讲，参谋长联席会议的意见是，这个战略将使我们卷入一场在错误的地点、错误的时间和错误的敌人的战争。”　　

这个战略指的是麦克阿瑟企图把朝鲜战争扩大到中国境内的战略。显然，原话的意思根本就不是指朝鲜战争“是在错误的时间、错误的地点，发动了一场错误的战争。”　　

对此，“纽约时报”也有过专门的澄清。“纽约时报”的原文如下：

Several times lately I have seen Gen. Omar Bradley quoted as saying the Korean War was not our affair and we should have stayed out of it. E. J. Kahn Jr., who should know better, joins this chorus on his Op-Ed article June 28, writing that General Bradley said, ''the Korean business was 'the wrong war, at the wrong place, at the wrong time and with the wrong enemy.' '' He didn't. What he said, on May 15, 1951, at the Senate hearings on President Truman's firing of General MacArthur, was, ''Enlargement of the war in Korea to include Red China ...'' -which MacArthur was willing to risk - ''would involve us in the wrong war, at the wrong place, at the wrong time and with the wrong enemy.'' 这是我关于此事的最后一篇博客。看够了所有人在我的博客上所留下的那么多污言秽语。有点恶心。这个周末，我会将在本博客上所有与Chinabounder相关的内容何评论全部删除。还自己和朋友们一个清静。

作为可能是第一个在中文世界里曝光Chinabounder博客的人，很多人可能以为我也是个愤青。我承认最初的阅读后我也有过短暂的愤怒，甚至也有过和张结海类似的想法。但是后来想通了。一度继续翻译或推荐许多人去读他的博客，不是为了煽动或发泄愤怒，而是希望许多国人有机会借着第三只眼睛回头看看自己的国家，自己的文化，这当然也包括我自己在内。

坦白说在八月中旬，我曾与Chinabounder互通电子邮件，并且通过MSN在线交流，随着张结海的讨伐檄文的公布，Chinabounder越来越担心自己的个人安全，说很害怕有一天早晨醒来打开门发现成群的暴徒将自己包围。我们不再联系。但通过他在邮件末尾的署名，我还是得知和印证了他的真实身份和他在中国所工作的机构。不过我并不打算对外公布。很多观点我已经说过了。不必重复。理解的自然能够理解，不能理解的人以后也许逐渐会理解，也许永远不会。不过这些都不重要。这么多年来有一种感觉：一个人对社会和事物的看法总是在不断进步或变化的，闻道有先后，处在不同认知层次的两个人在同一时间相遇，往往很难彼此沟通认同，而对与错往往随着时间、空间的转换而变换、颠倒。因此维护每一个人公开发表自己意见和观点的权利往往对社会的发展至关重要 - 一种不为世人所见容的观点和行为往往有可能会被后来的行为证明是正确的，或有其正当性和价值的。允许不同观点的表达，在探讨问题时保持理性的相互尊重，是文明的表现，也是文明得以延续的保障。如果将某一个时刻某一个或群体的种观点作为真理，以此分辨好人坏人是非对错，是一件很危险的事情。尤其在中国这样一个历来认为“好人打坏人活该”的社会，一旦一个人被贴上了“坏人”的标签，他的处境将万分悲惨，而众人将以见证他的悲惨为乐 - 正义得到了声张。每个人的血管里都流淌着毒汁，每个人的脸上都长着獠牙，浑然而不自觉。

表达一种将被世人所唾弃的观点 - Chinabounder比很多高喊着爱国口号的中国愤青或者外国护照的华裔爱国人士们更爱中国（说出这句话也许意味着我也要愤青们揪出来游街爆打并开除国籍？）。他以一个外来者、旁观者的身份见证和描述了中国社会和文化在一片歌舞升平繁花似锦的背后的苍白、虚伪、扭曲和丑陋。他选择了他的看法表达出来，以一种辛辣，讽刺的方式。我觉得他比很多我认识的很多外国人要可爱多了。他坚持不使用雅虎的电子信箱和服务，因为不能容忍他在中国对强权/政/府的“懦夫”式的妥协。在个人性生活上的放浪和缺乏道德观念和他对政治、社会和文化的整体正义感是一种矛盾，但是难道我每个人不都是一样有着光明和黑暗的两面吗？至少他一定程度上真实地面对了自己。他在为着一个毫不相关的民族和社会的荒谬而喋喋不休实在有点傻。他实在不懂得如何在中国做一个受欢迎的老外。很多老外在这方面训练得很好，“Oh, I love China！ I love Chinese culture so much！China is such a great country!”在和中国人交流的时候，他们简直无比友善，耐心的对你微笑着，不时地点头说：“oh! really? good for you!yeah, I coudn't agree more!”

多数人都在基于张结海的一面之词和经过策划过滤的中文信息而破口大骂外国流氓的无耻，爱国情感得到了很好的满足，窥私欲和口淫癖得到了充分的宣泄。至于这个外国人除了风流韵事之外还说了些什么，谁管他？！反正都是放屁！放屁！这一刻奴隶主和暴民都胜利了：想来拆毁我们温暖舒适的小黑屋并抢走中国女人的外国人被赶跑了，我们成功地维护了自己的尊严！中国人民真正的伟大了！这很好，伟大的中华民族，洗洗睡吧。
